There are a few "universal" materials out there that can work on both but in general if its specifically for water based then its not going to do well at all on a solvent machine. It will likely bleed out really bad..... We have a water based Epson and I've tried a few of its materials on our solvent Mimaki over the years and the results were not good at all.
