Areas of inconsistent ink saturation

I've got a Roland SP-300V and lately I've had problems with prints not having consistent ink saturation.
It seems to appear in the same area on the media on all my tests, but it seeems to be spreading.
I thought it was contaminated media, but tried several rolls.
Cleaned encoder strip with no luck as well.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Does the strip of fuzziness run in the same direction as the print head or the direction of the Vinyl feed? I've had this before and it was Running with the vinyl, turned out it was a very small bump in the vinyl where it wasn't right again St the platten, my pinch rollers were worn and needed replacing.
