After too many months to remember in the hospital last year, I can't believe the hardship our friend must feel facing another trip there.

I imagine many of you have read about Arlo facing his 17th surgery a week from tomorrow!

OUCH!! what can I say? ...that pretty much sucks...

...but I want to say more than that. I've known Arlo purely through this site... but from way back when he & I both used our real names, this comes to many many years of being good buds.. Arlo man, you are well loved & appreciated, and respected around here, as I'm sure you are around there...

As anyone would, I'm sure you will appreciate all kinds of wishes for good health from your friends here on Signs101, so i will be sending my prayers your way!

I was impressed with the unique avatar that gypsy graphics came up with to show support for Joe (Old Paint) last month... and I can't presume to expect others to follow, but for me, I wanted to show you my support in much the same way because it will represent my prayers, juju & good vibrations every time anyone here looks at one of my posts & I hope you will know how many of us are sending you the power of love & the power of prayer while you head into this difficult event.

Fred or others may have to "fix' my offsite image but the one I uploaded to Signs101 ended up with a black background. The .gif I gave a link to will retain the transparency in an avatar though.

Thanks Doug - that's awesome and I'm already feeling the goodwill. I can't stress enough the trepidation I'm feeling facing this surgery. It WILL be the last one (finally) and the rest of my life hangs on its outcome. I don't want to check out, but I WILL NOT live a life entirely devoid of food. The only observation I can make is the guitar graphic should have been a 4 string bass as that's what I play. Otherwise, it's as I said - AWESOME!!! Here's hoping it works again.
