Arrrggghhh! Withdrawal

[FONT=Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif]My phone line went dead Saturday morning Dec 18th ... that meant no internet!

Called my ISP, they tested and said it was the phone line . Sooooo .... I called 611 ... Repair said they would be out on Monday.

OK ... I can live with only my cell, but no internet.

Monday afternoon, I get a call "Sorry but we are running behind because of the storm, but will be at your place on Tuesday between 8am and 5pm.

Tuesday ... no body ... Wednesday ... again nobody. Thursday I call "Sorry, but we are still behind because of the storm, will try to get out sometime today but if not, you will be the 1st on Friday!" No such luck!

Finally ... repairman shows up late Sundy afternoon!

Yipeeeee! Got internet again!

So ....... a belated Merry Christmas to all of you and yours![/FONT]

I opened this thread thinking it had something to do with what I'm about to go thru. Six months on heavy duty narcotics is enough. I usually do a rapid taper that leaves me hyper as Rodney Dangerfield for a few weeks. Let the good times begin!
