Ascending Numbers In Illustrator

I need to make 500 stickers numbered from 1 to 500, is there any way to automatically do them in ascending order in Illustrator? Or must they be typed in manually? Any help appreciated.

I usually do it in Excel then copy and paste into Illustrator.

Dammit, I needed to do this yesterday from 1-100. Ended up doing it manually because my google skills weren't working like the usually do.

Will give this a test and file away for future jobs.
