Looks like its over for the YPages. ATT sold it out.
just as verizon alod its phone book a few years aog.. Att is unloading a falling angel.

3 years after verizon unloaded the phone book,, that section went under.. How long will the real YP last? Not long.

You know, it's been two years since I've even been asked if I wanted to advertise in it and almost that long since I've seen a phone book. I thought they'd already died.

It's kind of a shame it was a phone ringer in it's day. It generated 20+ calls a day in the 90's

A couple of years ago I came back from lunch to find two yellow pages books at my doorstep. I called the 800 number and told them I didn't want their books. She told me to just throw them in the trash. I insisted that they pick up their trash.
I called back a couple of days later and told them that an elderly customer had tripped on them and had to have an ambulance called, and that I needed their insurance carriers information. Within an hour the books were picked up.
They did the same thing at my home, refused to pick them up so I called the sheriff dept. and they filed littering charges against the company. About a week later the books were picked up.
