I was gonna head up today but it's a 2 hour drive and some change and it's a gamble if it's going to be a good show since they have downsized these things so much now.

I remember about 4 years ago i went and walked out with literally dozens of small transfer tape samples, vinyl roll samples, flatbed printed samples, squeegees, chizlers etc Now you will be lucky to get a free pen from some of these guys. Those samples to me made the vendors more reputable so people can actually try what they are selling before commiting.

Sorry, but I think the show sucked. I went with the idea that I was going to buy a new tangential head plotter, but there were none to be found. Huge let down!

I had a great time. My brother and I spent most of the time doing and going to seminars, but managed to find time to walk around the show floor a bit and see some friends in the bullpen. We also explored the boardwalk and casinos at night and part of Saturday morning. I lucked out and got to spend a bunch of time with Dan Sawatzky and Ray Chapman... and I finally got to meet Dan Antonelli in person for the first time. And who can forget one of the greats, Bill Riedel. I hear people complain about the size of the show, I don't really have much to compare it to since last year was my first time to a USSC show, but for me it's all about the quality of people there. And this year's USSC was definitely not lacking in that department.
