Personally I'd just call my tech and let him do it.
If you're determined to do this yourself why not source parts online from overseas?
I service my motorbikes myself and buy nearly all parts for them from the States.

You can try these guys, but wouldn't get my hopes up, getting roland parts to DIY in Aus is like getting blood from a stone...

two hours later... pulled the sensor out and cleaned it, looks like it working fine for now.

i cleaned the strip at least 10 times since Friday with the same error, put a bit of lube on the motor gear and all looks good so far
