Need Help Automatic Media Take up sensor not working

club of colors

New Member
Hello,
I have this Automatic Media Take up setup on Roland rf-640,
motors are working, but the sensor is not.
I wind printed material manually by turning the motors on and off.
Is there anything to do to fix it ? or anything to change on this system ?
Thank you very much.

Ensure that the sensor is properly connected to the system. Check for any loose or disconnected cables and reconnect them securely.
Dust or debris on the sensor can interfere with its functionality. Gently clean the sensor using a soft cloth or compressed air to remove any dirt or particles. Some systems allow you to calibrate the sensor to ensure accurate detection. Refer to the user manual or contact the manufacturer for instructions on how to calibrate the sensor on your specific model. Verify that the sensor settings are correctly configured in the system software. Make sure the sensor is enabled and set to the appropriate sensitivity level.
