Avery Vinyl with 3M Overlam...no-no or?

Never know, you might have created the dream combo.

Avery is a dream to install adhesive wise and tends to stretch further and conform better than 3M in my mind. Part of that is because it's laminate is thinner and that helps with the conform ability.

3M's Envision laminate is supposed to be easier to install through a wider range of temperatures and resist shrink back.

Pricing would come into play on this decision and I'm not sure I would use it for the additional warranty. There is know way your going to want to remove a 7 year old wrap. The adhesive will dry out. Also most commercial vehicle are sold in 3 to 5 years anyway. The people who keep there vehicles forever are the ones who bring you a beater to start with.

I find the 3M 8548 to less conformable than the 8518 but I also want the longest life for me clients and my reputation.

So im trying the 1105 with the 6460 nice to install but i find it hard to cut through on install... perhaps it is the Polyurethane lam Vs. Pvc.

I have samples on the roof of my truck also IJ180 cv3 with 8548 and also the 8528 both were installed 2/10/16
so that is 2years and 8 months ago both look good but I must admit the 8528 looks better glosser but at twice the price of the 8548 cant say it is worth it.

Wish 3M would offer a 75ft roll I would just use on hoods and roof, trunk tops.

Don't sweat mixing the cast with the Poly
