Haa!...we did a little bit of work on the new Godzilla. We were contracted to cnc cut all the carbon fibre/ honeycomb panels to fabricate a thing which I can't talk about yet.
It was our first time working with real carbon fibre and we learned a couple of things...
Firstly, the dust is highly conductive so you have to be careful it doesn't make it's way into any of your machinery, computers or motors. Secondly, the cut edges can be insanely sharp. I gave my hand a nastly slice just by touching the edge of a freshly milled piece.
Right now we're working on ABC's Wonderland, Once Upon a Time and Night at the Museum 3 which is a huge build.
NATM has our shop going seven days a week and we're even running a night shift. - Boyd
