B&W Import issues

Hello
Looking for a little help. Background first. I'm working with the edge fx, firmware K omega 3.0 ver 3.0.0.72.
Ok for the problem.Been using this setup for 3 years now so I'm pretty much up to speed. I am importing a pdf illustrator file with 2 black and white images embedded. They are rendered looking like negatives. Nothing I have tried has remedied the problem.
Suggestions please?

don't you have to set the color profiles for bitmaps you import in to omega?

Maybe try releasing the clipping mask? There's always a clipping mask when I import .pdfs.

Thanks fr the quick reply's guys. Paths released, imported with filter suppressed. Profiles switched to gsp rgb, half tone stc and 60 lpi... Just a little improvement but still un usable. Just a nightmare

Got it guys. I was importing it as a gsp file and not a pdf... Was right in frnt of my face :/
