bad test cut whats wrong

ok i bought a roland pnc 1000 some time ago .today desided to get it up and going . put in vinyl for test cut and ran test put a good impression on it but no cut. checked the force and played with it all the way to 200g same thing . do i need to adjust something ,new blades or what help!!!:frustrated:

I used to have a PNC 1050, but I'm not sure how similar they are, and can't think of much to suggest just yet, but OP (Old Paint) has posted many times about Roland 1000's or 1100's I think.

My suggestion is to post in the Roland forum, or at least put "PNC 1000" in your thread title (or your NEXT thread title, if this one can't be edited.... because people can't check all the posts, so you want people who know your machine, to see your posts & know what they are about.

Basically, if you take the blade holder out & try to use it to make a cut in some vinyl, if it cuts by hand, the blade should work (at least better than it does now) ...so pressure, and blade depth are usually the main to settings to tweak.
