Banding as my print gets farther away from print head station

Hello every one!
I have a Roland SP 540 V
I am soon going to call my Roland tech up here in Ontario before I give a last ditch effort
I have been battling with a issue.
what happens is, the print is awesome when i am printing just 5 inches away from the "home" (so close to the right side of the machine) but as it prints farther to the left of the machine, the print starts to band and degrade in quality.
any one experience this?? could it be some ink blockages? ink starvation?

I have cleaned and put new capping stations in, new foam, one new damper but it still does it!
could it be a encoder issue?

Could be a number of things. Get into service mode and do a fill test then report back. Offering possible causes at this time would be pointless. A baseline condition needs to be established.
