Banding on the XR-640...grrrr!

Anybody have a fix for banding on the XR-640?! Tried all the usual stuff. Printer is barely 2 months old. Prints great in high quality but on 720x720 it bands every time. Tried calibration, cleaning, adding heat, profiles, media, different images...etc..any suggestions would be great, thanks in advance guys!

Looks like need to print high quality all the time.
Seems once you start printing HQ rolands don`t like a regular print.

what type of media are you using and also the profile

I experienced banding issues and it turned out to be a combination of profiling and firmware issues. It was right as rain after the correct profiles were set up and firmware was updated.

Now, whenever I do see banding, I double check to clean the head and felt wiper and it goes away.

try to clean raster strip

Try to clean the raster strip using 70% alcohol with face soft tissue paper... wipe it from start until end of the strip...
