Banding / Printhead Issue?

I have a Roland VG2-540 that i take excellent care of. However been noticing some slight banding in the cyan color only. Im wondering if you guys think this problem is caused by what the pictures shown of my issue is. Roland Tech came and serviced the Printer about a 9 months ago and problem was known at that time as well and he says i need a new printhead with no known cause or explanation of what was really going on.

I have scrubbed the head and tried to let the cleaner solution soak into the head as well and that helped alot of my banding but still getting some banding. If you look at my test print i have 1 nozzle that acts funny by showing a "ghosted or fainted" line underneath the actual nozzle. Its literally the only thing i can think of that may cause it... I have done calibrations and media gap adjustments but nothing seems to completely get rid of the banding.

Do you think banding is caused from this one nozzle? If not what do you think? And also do you have any advice for trying to get this nozzle fixed other than buying a new printhead?

As Jim stated, showing us the type of banding is what is required. Cyan is usually mixed with every other color, unless you are spot coloring with cyan only.. You will also never know when your icc profile uses Lc or Lm

I just had to replace a cyan head on a 6 month old VG3. (Under warranty)
I don't understand, why Roland doesn't do anything about the cyan problem...
