Banner keeps wrinkling up on the left pinch roller

Hey guys, I'm printing on 13oz matte ultraflex banner and for some reason it keeps wrinkling up on the left pinch roller causing head strikes.

I have tried using the small media clamps, the larger ones, moving the roller farther away from the edge and still the same problem. I have also tried unrolling the banner from the roll rather than let the machine pull it off.

take a photo of the way that it is wrinkling.... it can be a number of causes.

in the past

i've had this problem when the heat is too high on the machine...also when the vacuum was on high instead of low. it may also help to pre feed a couple of feet of banner material through to have weight to keep it even and pull it through (when necessary i just took a couple of squeeze clamps and put it on the end of the material - the end that is past the print headt that is)

what kind of printer do you run?

We had this problem...
Only have it heating on the end heater.
