Banner printing smudge

i have printed a few banners on the avery 4310 banner material and i am finding the prints smudge a little if they are rubbed

is this due to too much ink on the media, or is there a technique people use to stop this

what type of printer are you using?

how long are you waiting before you rub the banners?

we are using a roland with eco-sol on Arlon and we do not have any issues with smudges as long as you give it some time to outgas

Roland VS-640
Printed with both heaters full ball
Stock is an avery 4310 520gsm blockout banner material.

Tried with both CMYK and with metallic prints

I find the metallic smudges really easy on all vinyls too.

With vinyl i have tested metallic prints (on vinyl) and after 2-3 weeks of hanging and still smudges easy.

With the banners I had an off cut i printed on. tested it after hanging for a few hours and 24 hours later.
Leaving it another 24 hours and will try again tomorrow night

So far
Metallic Smudged easy both times
the cmyk wasnt as easy to smudge, but did smudge both times... took a bit of rubbing though.
