banner stand rentals what to do? how to do it?

nashvillesigns

Making America great, one sign at a time.
So, i am debating going into banner stand rentals.
i have a stand nobody want to own, but customers want to rent.
1. security deposit? should this be the RETAIL cost of the stand plus shipping?
2. rental over weekends. should i rent for Three days Friday- monday? i am closed weekends, i can do daily rentals, but what about that weekend loophole?
3. waiver sheet? do i need one for this?
4. price. is there a formula for how long you should rent a cost/product/diminished value?
thanks!

I don't think I'd get into this if it were me, but it depends on what the stand is. If it's just a regular run of the mill retractable, I would think the labor to regularly change the graphic and deal with the rental process would not be worth it.

What exactly are you looking at renting out?

Typical banner stands are so cheap. The cost of renting one for 3 days plus the graphics would be equal to or more than just buying one. Unless you're renting for $10 a day or something, and at that point, why bother?
