banner touch-up ideas

Is there any way to remove or touch-up a smudge caused by a head strike on the white part of a banner? The whole banner is fine except for a 1 inch black smudge on a white stripe set inside a solid black background, and I'd hate to reprint the whole thing for that tiny flaw. I'm using a VP-540, with eco-sol ink, if it matters. Am I out of luck?

Nose grease?
That works with paint smudges.
(take your t-shirt, rub it beside your nose, then rub the smudge)

The only thing I notice when using cleaning fluid, is that you will get a dull look, but thats far better than ink

Mask the offending area with transfer tape, wipe with cleaning solution and rinse immediately with water.
