Beating my head against the wall!!!!

Ok. I have a problem. I am trying to cut a simple name with a contour background. The foreground cuts fine but the background compresses 2 letters into 1. It has done this 2 times and I don't really want to have to waste more vinyl. On the screen everything looks normal. Has anyone else had this happen?

I am using Corel X3 and have never had this problem before.

you got more then 1 image on the desktop, ungroup, click on, hit delete.....you should still have the image....
