Recently I asked my son to play Kryptonite on the guitar for me.... he say it needs drums to sound good. No problem gimme a few weeks and I’ll learn to play it. I don’t know the first thing about playing the drums but we have a pretty red kit and I like red.

Turns out it’s not so easy. I suck... Surely the problem must lie with the drum kit. I occurs to me something is missing I have no Cow Bell. I need a/more cowbell!

Coincidentally, Guitar Center’s ad shows up and low-n-behold they’ve got a Pearl cow bell in their ad. My husband goes to by it and is told “sorry a couple of kids bought the last one not 15 minutes ago.” So my husband buys the only other Pearl Cowbell they have a smaller one.

This morning I open one present... It’s a Cow Bell!!! I’m cracking up, I want to play it but my sons insist I open their gift right away. I open it... Now I’m rolling on the floor....... MORE COW BELL!!!! They tell me they where lucky, they got the last one in Guitar Center ad! They'd just missed running into their dad. Which worked out good for me otherwise I'd have only gotten one cow bell.

I got them Beatles Rock Band and we’ve been playing all morning. My favorite????

But amps aren't funny and my cow bells are... and way cuter too.
I actually don't get the whole amp thing. When there were only two pieces, he called it a half stack. So I'm thinking there must be two more. One day he comes home with a third piece and now it's a full stack??????

Yeah, they don't call it a two thirds stack, ha, ha. I used to have the 1/2 stack Marshall back in the day, and a Jackson soloist, that would CRANK! I would have to go straighten the pictures on the walls before mom and dad got home. The problem with the big Marshalls is you almost have to turn it up most of the way to get the cool sounding tone. These amps were originally made for big theaters and would cut through the mix without miking them up to a P.A. system.

ok, I guess... if she's gonna be Skyhigh's caddie on his CNC training vist, disguised as a Hawaiian golf trip... I suppose I can give some drum lessons too...
