I'm trying to sort out the best cleaning cycle for when my printer goes to sleep.
I leave it continuously running as my techie informs me that it's the best because the head detaches from the capping station when it goes into sleep mode.
this can result in the possibility of damage to the head as the head can dry out compared to having it always in contact with the capping station.
But, I would rather let the printer go into a sleep cycle rather than continue have it running.
Apparently there are two modes, a cleaning mode and the tube wash.
Tube wash would result in me continuously using a washing cart. This much I know.
What is your preferred setting and why?
