Haha, that's funny. Break (your neck) dancing.
Anyhow, I took a job years ago for some extra bucks (putting up advertising pieces for a Grocery store chain).... and put up the little advertising pieces on the freezer windows, small signage, and even the graphics on the floors. The graphics go down pretty quickly, but I always wondered if it was a good idea to even put them on the floor as it seemed to me that it made the surface slicker. I've never been asked to print these since owning a wide format printer, but I do have a laminate that is supposed to be good for floor graphics.
Think I'll stay away from floor graphics, got enough to worry about.
A note to the OP, I do like the look of your dance floor idea though! Looks very nice, whomever did the work.
If you do the dance floor job, hopefully you have good Insurance and have asked your Insurance Carrier specifically if there is coverage should anyone be injured on the dance floor.
Also, I was wondering about this: If a Company that makes laminates advertises that their product is "non-slip" and somebody slips on it, who is liable then?
I'd say the Company that makes the laminate. That is some food for thought. Maybe not?
Good luck, let us know what you decide to do.
Only allow break dancing.
