Best vinyl for emulsion painted MDF...

Hi there
The exhibitions company I work for have been asking me about sticking vinyl to emulsion-painted MDF wall panels for an exhibition.
They think that vinyl won't stick very well to the emulsion.

What do you guys, with far more experience than me, think about this?
What's the best vinyl to use for painted panels?
Will it fall off if the exhibition hall is very cold?
Plus any other considerations you might have!

Thanks!

if the panels are painted well and the finish is an eggshell or above finish you should be fine with intermediate. As long as you install where its hot. I know we letter walls at the mall and paint with eggshell and the ones near the ice rink are hell to get the vinyl to stick, but eventually they do. If its flat I personally would not do but Im sure the other guys in here know best for that

MDF for exhibition huh? what thickeness are they using, those panel are not light
