Best Vinyl/Lam Combo for Print/Cut Vehicle lettering

What's your go to for printing and cutting individual logos and lettering?
Currently use IJ180 w 8518 but it doesn't small lettering out worth a damn.
If you have to print the letters, laminate then cut out say 3/4" tall lettering for long term vehicle use, what's your best stuff?

It's the air release as well as the gummy 8518 that doesn't like small cuts. The backer doesn't hold onto small letters very well either.

When we have to, we use 180:8518 and we don't weed the small stuff... Put it on the vehicle and then weed it. Once the vinyl is sticking to a material that's stickier than the backing paper weeding it will be way easier.


Generally we use ij40/8048(or 8508) for flat installs... Its a bit thicker, easier to cut and still a long term vinyl that we've never had shrink on us. 180 for wraps... Ij40 for flat graphics.

3M IJ180 with 8518 Over-laminate. Small detailed letters can be tricky, but patience and post weed on the vehicle is a great approach.
