Best way of disposing with an old printer?

Just wondering how others dispose of an old printer they no longer use.

We generally strip it of useful sellable parts and then throw it in the alley way. It's usually gone within a few hours.

most companies have a buy-back program when you buy a "new" machine

if you are still using this model, strip it of the consumable parts

donate to your local tech school, they are always looking for items to train on, mechanical or circuitry

Landfills usually have a place to drop off electronic equipment for recycling.

Before printers were all machine parts and whatnot, there were people who did the printing by hand....... This is what they did t ba-a-a-ad printers.

I bought a new Mamaki and they gave me $1000 for my old printer’s mother board.

When we take one back, we e strip out the electronics and ink system and take the rest to the metal recycler down the road and get a pizza with the money.
