black background

i am getting a black background ontiff files saved from cs2. i don't see it until i open it in flexi..any ideas? thanks

happening on more than one file? my first thought is there's an extra channel in the file.

flexi gives us white boxes around transparent elements sometimes. its a pain. we have to flatten files and export them as different formats til we get what we want.

i save the psd file as tiff , the back ground looks transparent. but is black in flexi, not doing anything different than usual??

how are you opening eps files in ps? i have always done it in rgb..that's when i get the black box now. if i open as cmyk, nobox, but now the colors are wrong. aiigghhh

Flexi doesn't like the transparency. Flatten the file, and save as a tif with no compression.
