black line on edge of print

Mutoh Valuejet 1204

Recalculated printer and now have black lines (as shown on pic) printed both sides. Is there a way to eliminate this in the menu?

I believe its called flushing in the menu. (It's been a while since I've used a 1204). I think the options were on the edge of the vinyl - as you have now, which is quicker - or on the pad, which takes slightly longer due to the head having to travel a little further.

Yep Epson GS6000 has same thing...flush onto paper...just turn it off from the media type

Go into menu, scroll to flushing and select it should come up "on paper" turn off.
