Blacking out windows

My concern would be the shattered window. Have you thought about frosted on the inside, and a window perf on the outside. Frosted comes in several different colors, and you can't see through it. I used it at the local ymca for their work out rooms.

+1 for frosted. And +1 for Gino's suggestion. And really, you would only need it 3/4 of the way up to block an passer-by view. And, it'll leave light for the room. Anything dark, including window tint, may shatter the window as stated before. You really have to know what you're doing with dark shade and tints. Upsell your client and educate him on why some things should not be done and why your way is better and more economical in the long run.

Tin foil. all the meth cooks in my area use it on their windows.
