Blurry Printing!

Karen in Ocala

New Member
We have a VersaCamm SP-540V and it's been printing just fine. Now today, with a rush job of course, this is how it is printing - see pic. It actually got progressively worse after cleaning the printer and doing a feed correction and a bi-directional correction. Head height is correct, media profile is correct. Not only is the printing blurry, the type also started falling over to the left. Help!

Hey Karen in Ocala,

jfiscus is right, it really looks like a dirty encoder. You can attempt to clean it, but if the issue continues, the encoder sensor may be fault. Call your authorized Roland dealer if the issue continues.
