BN20 vs sp300v

Hi everyone iam looking at getting either the bn20 or a used refurbished sp300v (1yr warranty) for the same price.
Right now iam using a gerber edge and want to step up.are the sp300v series a very old machine?
which is the better choice?

Earlier this year we went through the same debate...ended up with an SP300V...THe print quality should be the same if not better and idea of doing stickers smaller than 18" (after the pinch rollers, you can only print like 18") is ridiculous for our application. We spent less on an SP300V and NEVER even thought twice about it. Best money we've ever spent. We do 100-500 sticker order regularly....on a 20" Roll of vinyl that'd be almost a whole roll every order, how annoying.

I bought a used SP300V in May and I love it. It is my first printer. I cannot comment on other machines, so I may not be much help but I can certainly vouch for the Roland.

Also, it seems like there's a lot of them out there, which means a lot of advice on this forum if you have a problem. I am always learning about my machine simply by reading posts with Q&A right here.
