what I like about the song I posted: the composition, and the hook in the music. I really like the bass line too. bass player, I felt it. It's an amazingly well put together piece. I like the lyrics too, not because I feel that NOW, but because the lyrics of this song also resemble lyrics I've written, for two different songs. A LONG time ago.
I felt that connection as a song lyric writer, so I like it. all art is personal, commercial can ruin it... but if it's good, it's good. imho

That I don't recall. I know he did a lot of shows and performed "Racing the Mule" and "Ghost Riders in the Sky".
Amazingly talented guitar player right up until he passed.
