Hey Gino, what music genre or group main streamed the prominent bass lines? I have an idea in my head but that's assuming it was late 60s or early 70s.

Basically funk. Not soul, not motown or anything else. Funk is when you can play rhythmically and have fun and still lay down a dancing pattern. Ya just wanna move your feet.
