i need to have some text look like it's branded in the leather, any tips? thanks brett

bevel/emboss/down
play with contour to get textured edges
duplicate "s" set layer property to "multiply"
color dodge to make smoke or airbrush your smoke

didn't have time last night, but the right way to do smoke is this:

load an appropriate brush and draw a shape
then use the smudge tool

yes smoke is easy to do ..........did these this in about 1 minute.......

well, i think i have the smoke part down..still trying to figure out how to make the text look embedded in the leather...

Layer styles>Bevel and emboss
direction > Down

And then tweak away!

aight the text is killing me...i have had too many tutorials i think? emboss down....etc. i'm thinking it should be the same steps to make footprints in sand, huh?
