Brightest Translucent Method

I have 2/ 4x8 lexan replacement internally illuminatedfaces to do.
Red Background, White letters witha black outline.
What is the best way to get the brightest red, both day & night.
1. Translucent print on white lexan
2. Reverse print on clear lexan
3. Cut vinyl on white lexan

My main issue with #3 is the white lexan will yellow.
If I could use acrylic #3 would be my choice, but the application
requires lexan.

Thanks

#3...If you really are that concerned about yellowing lexan you could use clear lexan and apply white translucent along with the red and black. I never tried it and I'm not sure how white that would be though.

Our experience has been, anytime you lay a translucent white on clear or white, it cuts down the amount of light passing through, thus making your graphics not pop quite as much.

If the specs are lexan, then I'd just put cut vinyl down and let them know their specs called for a product which will yellow over time.

Actually I'm specing the lexan because of the location, right on the harbor, very very windy and because their crew will be putting the faces up and I could just see them
cracking an acrylic face.
