I picked up a used (made in 2016) 1625 and am trying to get it running. The original owner is out of the picture so contacting him is not an option. I have contacted the manufacturer to get access to the documentation that is behind their login wall but am waiting to hear back. If you have experience with this machine, are you able to answer any of my questions?
1. Is there a program that shows current and/or historical faults the machine has thrown?
2. Is there a document that steps you through diagnosis and repair?
3. Is there a universal password? When I open Fiery XF, the username field is populated with 'Admin', which is greyed out, and the password is filled with asterisks. It is asking me to enter the password in another field as confirmation.
4. Where do you get your spare parts, ink, etc?
5. Are there interlocks that allow you to 'cheat' the door sensors so you can have the doors open while working on the machine, yet the software thinks the door is closed?
6. EFI doesn't seem to use local resellers. How would I determine who in the area might be able to service my machine?
7. What are my service options--pay by the hour with a remote or live tech, annual contract, etc?
