Broken Stepper Motor

Hi Everybody. I am wondering if anybody can help me with a broken stepper motor. I have a Gerber System 48 Plus and the motor had short in a couple of its wires. I contacted Gerber but they couldn't help do to the age of the system. Does anybody have any ideas? Thank you.
