We don't really use Oracal, but that 3640 calls out short to medium term use. I guess It depends on how long you want the bumper sticker to last. It also doesn't look like its air egress - I would opt for an air egress adhesive as it would be easier to install.

We typically use 3M products, so I would use 3M Ij35C with a matte laminate (just because I prefer a matte finish - it's really up to the customer on the finish).

While I too prefer matte, it 'holds' a lot of dirt that would wash off of a gloss finish more easily.
For bumper stickers, I'd go with some of that fantastic substance pm3755 with matching laminate. It's twice as thick as ij35, taste the same, but smells better. Also it's usa made so for the moment it's tariff proof!

Bumper stickers are not air egress. People can put them on just fine. They have since what, the 1940s without air release? I would also consider using regular calendared material with removable adhesive. And not laminate it. Unless they want people to leave the bumpersticker on for many years. But people remove political campaign bumperstickers and saddling them with a huge wad of permanent adhesive just isn't very kind.

Man have you seen the kinds of cars belonging to folks who still buy bumper stickers? They leave them on until the car falls apart, to the point the bumper sticker is holding them together. Their entire belief system is held up by that bumper sticker, and to remove it is an act of war.
Agreed though, air release is overkill.

I have had stickers on telephone poles here in Maine stuck on there for 3 years without any problems using Substance 2755/3150.
Substance is my go to and it's a great company. They are making matte again in 3755/3750 again after I had talked to them about it and made me 10 rolls to use while they brought it into production. What other company would do that?
