burning fonts?

I recently purchased signlab 8. I currently use signlab 5 and want to start using 8 in my laptop while still using 5 in my desktop comp that is running win98 (stop laughing). Now I just figured that the new version when opening old files is going to be looking for fonts, so I figured I would burn the fonts from my win 98 comp and load them into the laptop, and that way I will cover fonts not in the new laptop, but also possible differences in the actual font names. Is there a reason that I can't drag and drop the donts into my cd burning software? It won't let me do it. Help

Try copying the fonts folder first. the OS wont let you mess with files that are in use, but you should be able to make a copy to another folder.
That should burn.
