DO NOT USE N GLANZ BRAND BANNER MATERIAL!! It bubbled up, which caused the metal clip that holds it in place to bend, which caused a head strike. We knew this material sucked, and we used it anyone. Now we have a huge problem.

I'm so upset. Can anyone help me find a better place to get a replacement head? Our supplier quoted us $2750 not installed, and that is insane.

We need a CJV30-130 print head, asap.

We have them for much cheaper. Here is a link.

PS. I would suspect something fishy with that pricing the dealer gave you. It's almost 15% higher than Mimaki's end user list price. That's 15% on top of what everyone else is supposed to pay.

do you know if they are hard to install? we are quite technologically savvy, but I also don't want to screw it up.

Most of our customers are installing these heads on their own. The most important part is turning the machine off, unplugging it, hit the power button after it is unplugged and waiting 15 minutes before starting. If you do that, there is minimal damage you could do to the machine. The second most important part is allowing enough time to work on the machine and being patient and calm during the process. If you get frustrated, take a break and return. Overall in my opinion, the CJV30 head is the second easiest head to install after the Mutoh ValueJet. We offer free phone support if you get stuck or have any questions and manuals are available.

Does anyone have a link on how to remove/change the printhead? We are still trying to troubleshoot, but its hard when we can't find instructions on how to even open our machine up to diagnose.

thanks in advance.

Your supplier is crazy to offer $2750 of the printer head.
I just buy a original head from my supplier, price is $1700.
And they send a service manual to us, help us change the head my self.

I think it is better choice to you.
