Cage Fight Graphics??

We were approached by a client who is promoting a MMA cage fight and wants to put a graphic on the floor of the cage. I figure cut vinyl would probably to slick and have a chance at lifting.
Would floor graphic laminate over a digital print be the thing to use?
If anyone has experience with this, I would appreciate any advice. I don't want anyone getting getting hurt because of the floor graphics!
If they get their a$$ kicked that's fine but I don't want anyone slipping because of something I have done to the floor!

You REALLY need to contact MMA, UFC, etc. and learn their cage and mat specs. WHY? there are slip resistant laminates used on commercial floors in Wal Mart, Target, etc. But, those products may not be acceptable in "...the CAGE..."

We have done this exact thing... Ill upload a pic in a sec. We printed on a standard printable vinyl, I think it was oracal. We jut used what we had that had the most aggressive adhesive... and then laminated with a matte laminate. We were told by the manufacturer that the non-slip laminate was too think, and would not bend and move with the mat as the fighters moved across it.

Here are the pics. I believe this was about 8' x 8' and was in 3 pieces.
