Caine's Arcade

Good lord....I can't do anything today without seeing a link to this or a comment about it or hearing a news story about it.

In case you haven't see it...http://cainesarcade.com/2012/04/caines-arcade-short-film/

In one week it's gotten 3 million views and raised over $140,000 for his scholarship fund....all for a kid who got drug to work in his dad's junkyard, got bored, and got creative.

Pretty inspirational but it's becoming as redundant as hearing Adele on the radio.

I'll be the first to admit that upon watching it last night, it nearly made this grown man cry. Besides the truly inspiring nature of the kid himself, the cinematography, editing, and music are captivating. Exactly something my 9 year old would do. Mad props to the entire crew involved. Plus, we have a hard working kid that's destined to do great things in the pipeline, rather than the lazy *** that is so typical today.

edit - looks like he added 25k likes to his facebook today. Way to go little man.

It's a great feel good story and reminds me of my own childhood. I remember always building stuff out of cardboard boxes and old vinyl roll tubes as a kid.
