does anybody know if there is a way to just rip a file to production manager without sending it to print...

i have a big file and it always takes an hour to rip...i dont want to have to sit here for that long to let it rip, print enough then attach it to take up reel, i would like to rip it and print it at my leisure...

edit: thats if you manually add to prod mgr..not sure about sending from flexi proper

When you send from Flexi to the Production manager ... In the print/cut window you have to select "hold in list" so that it will send the file to production manager but not execute it. After it has been sent, in production manager you can select to just Rip the file.

You can also set this up as a preference to follow this process every time you enter the RIP/Production Manager.
