Can’t get solid colors

I am having trouble getting solos colors to print from my Mutoh1204 using Flexisign. I’m printing on Oracal3165 and using Oracals color profile. Anyone have any suggestions?

Quit buggin' me

Hard to tell from the photos see if any of these ring a bell:
How is the nozzle check, can you post up a photo of it?
Have you had good solids before and it has just now started to print poorly?
Have you changed anything on the printer or in Flexi?
Have you tried changing to another roll of similar material?
I use(d) a 1304 and now have a 1624x - we should be able to figure this out.

Nozzle check is just about perfect. I’ve attached my settings that I use in production manager. I did try a different setting to try and get more solid prints, but it didn’t help at all. I have not tried a different roll of media.

Also need to know how many passes? I zoomed in on a photo and it looks like you printed on canvas...pretty strange pattern. I'm gonna suggest another vinyl? Looks like maybe that's a bad roll.

What file type are you using? I’ve seen this happen on our sublimation printer when I save artworks as low res png files. Just solid text etc that’s usually fine when actually pressed.

Try exporting as something that supports vector (if not already).

Does it look like that when you zoom into the artwork? Care to share the file?

I changed the effect, dither and quality and now I’m back to getting nice solid colors again. This is printing on Oracal3165 vinyl.

Purple, Dark Green, Burgundy, Grey & Red are the most difficult colours to hit especially with a machine that only has 4 colours.
I find printing in the highest quality available normally gives me good on all of the above.
If it doesn't it just isn't possible.
