Can the usb dongle be networked?

Can I put the Flexi Dongle on a networked hub of some sort so that my 2 computers can use it without me having to remove it?

I'm not looking to run Flexi on both machines at once and if I was I would gladly purchase a 2nd license, I just want to be able to use Flexi without having to manually remove the dongle from one computer to the next. I'd be fine with the program locking me out if another instance is running. I can't tell you how many times I have already removed/replaced the dongle from one computer to the next (not to mention how many times I've forgotten it).

I use my desktop to do all my design work because it a bigger/more powerful computer & the larger computer screen, I use my laptop to do all my printing/cutting.

Any solutions other than buying a second license or no?

Yep... just keep the key plugged into one of the computers and keep that computer on.

You can only have one copy of Flexi running at a time (same for Production Manager).
However you can have PM open on one computer and Fexi open on the other at the same time.

You'll also need to make sure there is an exception in your firewall for "Sentinel Key Server" on both computers.

Thanks for that link Auto-FX. I totally overlooked that one when I did a search.

Now that I know it's possible I'll give it a try. Didn't want to waste my time if it wasn't possible.

I use ULTR@Viewer program to work remotely on my computer across the shop. I keep Onyx Production House near the printers and am able to log onto the remote computer from my desk and work even though I am 20 feet away. It also works over the internet. It's FREE
