Can't believe paper cost more than banner material

Just looked at the invoice for the latest order of poster paper. I can't believe it's more than 13 oz banner material.
We've been printing party banners and temporary things of that nature on paper because we thought we were saving money.

it was 8 oz photo paper. 54" x 160' is 180.00

So I'm asking what do you use. We print on a versacamm and an HP l360

I really thought I should be paying closer to 100.00

Am I in fantasy land ?

Paper that is coated for solvent ink typically starts around 12-15 cents per foot.

Your HP Latex printer can print on uncoated bond paper that is considerably less expensive - I have profiled and printed onto butcher paper with the Latex. Cost for that paper is around 2 cents per foot. (Note that it is still bond paper, and as such, it is not as nice a result as photobase paper would yield.)

Glad to be back as a merchant member, was working for the MFG InkTec who makes the Jetrix flatbeds so I wasn't in a position to advertise but now I am powered by Gans Ink who's been around for over 50 years and can rock out to all my end users out here!

You guys need good affordable paper for your latex then I'm the guy to see! I have 2 fantastic solutions in a Light Weight and a Heavy Weight version that will be under $0.15 sq.ft no problem. Let me know if your interested. For the next few months I will be shipping from Cali but will be building inventory in multiple warehouses throughout the US.

Bigfish is Back and I am going after it all!!!
