Cant figure out what port to use! Help Please!!!

ok so I got my hands on a Mimaki CG-75FX cutter and I am trying to get Flexi to see it. I installed the driver for the cutter. I am using the USB port. I am using Flexi Print & Cut 8.6
The driver info in devise manager says that it is plugged into Port_#0006.Hub_#0001
Now, in Flexi I have Com1, Com2, com3, com4, com5 to choose from. and other printer options.
No matter ehat port I choose in Flexi I just cant get the job to send to the cutter.
Anyone have any ideas?

you may need serial to usb adapter - sounds like flexi is only seeing your serial ports (dont use flexi so dont know for sure, but thats what it sounds like...)

I can try that but Flexi works with my other cutter that I have and that is USB also so it wouldn't make sense unless there is something with the cutters end of the USB?

Got it working with the serial cable now so it must be something with the USB.

I think you need a windows driver for Flexi to see that plotter on USB!
