Cant snap to the nodes in illustrator

I am not sure what I did but I can not snap to any corners, point, or anything for that matter. I dropped a bottle of water (closed) onto my key board and now I can not snap to anything. I had to have hit a quick key some how to turn it off but not sure how or what I did.

It shows Under the View menu Snap to point is checked but still not working.

Any idea how to correct it. Restarted illy too, but that didnt work.

I know I am missing something (probably really easy to correct) but I am not seeing it right now.

Preferences drop down

Snapping Tolerance 1pt

Select anchor of object

If your and using line tool and double click on anchor point your line should be appear with a window for angle and length options.

Figured it out. Somehow I hit Ctrl + U and turned the smart guides off.

Yep, I was gonna say check the smart guides. Mine always gets turned off too somehow..
