Cap Height Adjustment

Hi,

Can any body advise me on the correct procedure for setting the cap height/alignment for the jv3160s.

Or a way of checking to confirm it is either too high or too low.

there are some pages in the service manual about how man millimeters you should see. there is a park, approach, and flash adjustment in the service menu. on mine i actually have the back propped up a little higher than the front. works much better with that horrible cam system they have on these printers.

hey artbot,

Had a problem a few days ago were the ink was syphoning into the waste bucket. Think i lost a full 440ml cyan and half of magenta.

Would the caps being too high and pressing on the heads create a syphoning effect like this.
